Public sinks will dry your hands too

Did you know that those regular old hand dryers we’ve been using at football stadiums take 43 seconds to fully dry your hands? And that wet hands can spread up to 1000 times more bacteria than dry hands? There’s probably a few nachos you’re rethinking right now.

But luckily, thanks to Dyson, dirty hands are nacho problem anymore.

The new Dyson Airblade Tap only takes 12 seconds to dry your hands, and you don’t even have to wait in a separate line for it!

According to Dyson:

Both water and air are sensor operated so there are no taps to turn, or buttons to touch. Intelligent infrared sensors emit light to pinpoint hand positions. Computer circuitry coordinates the information and initiates the appropriate response of water or air without long delays. It’s been tested for 365,000 cycles, and is mains powered, so there are no batteries to run out.

No more overflowing trashcans! No more water dripping across the floor to the dryer! (That distant noise you hear is the jubilation of janitors everywhere.)
